Years of crop failures have spelled disaster in southern Ethiopia’s Konso region, leaving the farming community reliant on government and humanitarian aid. A food-for-work policy is encouraging people to earn their food by working in community projects, but that only goes so far. Al Jazerea’s Mohammed Adow reports.
