Who said I was jealous… yes the gulf has the money, and i see you’re interested in the economics of flight, but wouldn’t it be more profitable if they had A320s and such flying short haul routes like Abu dhabi-Bahrain with higher frequencies?

I think it must have been an A330-200, I’m not sure why I put A340-300 on the comments. I’ll have a look to see if I can find the date when I landed.

This is not an Etihad A340-300. A6-EYC does not have the video forward looking camera. This has to be the A340-500/600 or new A330-200. Given the speed, me thinks it is the A330-200. Give me the date and I will give you the registration, landing time and aircraft type!

What I don’t understand is why Gulf state airlines don’t get short haul aircraft and fly them on such short routes, it’s better than flying A330s, B767s, A340s and B747s. Not even in Europe does that happen!!

The flight was on an Etihad plane using an Etihad ticket and Booked via Etihad. The Etihad cabin crew served drinks and snacks and thanked us for flying with Etihad.
