Agreed – it all goes by so fast. Way too fast.
Life is short – way too short. Things change too fast. Yet Donna still has that fantastic unique voice. I love her voice – not to mention the fact that back in her prime whe was a super babe!

Sorry but I’ve never ever written that this took place in Brussels. I’ve written that I live in Brussels! And by the way, you are absolutely right: NOTHING NEVER HAPPENS IN BRUSSELS! Too bad! I’m gonna see Donna in Paris on July 7.

This was not in Brussels. Nothing ever happens in Brussels. This was in Antwerp and I was there. The Night Of The Proms Concerts are always great. And always in Antwerp Belgium.

OMG! Can it be true? Thirty YEARS AGO? God, I can remember dancing to this song on the DISCO dance floor when I was a teenage! WHERE DID THOSE DAYS GO?

What a great performance, I live in Brussels but wasn’t in Belgium when Donna came. Shame on me! What a voice, what a presence, and what a great orchestra. A big, unforgettable, unbeatable classic: who sings like Donna today? Power, color, pathos, flexibility and freshness of tone: she’s unique. Blessings!

This is pure perfection. Seen her live about ten years ago in Monte Carlo, in 2007 at the NOP in Rotterdam, last year in Boston and this year I’ll go to Paris to see this fantastic singer again. Can’t get enough. The BEST VOCALIST EVER!!

I’m amazed that her voice is still this strong after so many years. She’s on the circuit again in the US and is appearing in Baltimore at the Pier Six Inner Harbor on July 16. I guess I’ll have to go see her.

Is this disco? Never mind. It’s great music, a great voice, a great harmony with a classical orchestra?
I was there at the proms in Antwerp. A lot of the public had never heard of Donna. They were to young. But after this song and A State of Independance they became real fans.
    Thank you Donna,
    Thnak you Fzkny

This song was the absolute pinnacle of the disco era, and the number which finally lent credibility to a much maligned music genre. I have been a fan of the Queen of Disco for over 30 years, and am still in awe of her power and the beauty of her voice.

Donna Summer is the greatest. Her voice is a special gift from God and she shared it with everyone on Earth. This lady can sing for years to come and never changes. GOD BLESS YOU, DONNA!

WOW! So did you really? Had I met her then I think I would have been speechless since she was my goddess! :-) However, I had that great opportunity back in 2003 at her book signing at Barnes and Noble in New York City. She’s not the sexy symbol anymore, but she is simply adorable!
